Sweetie Club 2021 PDF Sewing Patterns & Videos tutorials for all SIX Mini Quilts

COMPLETE SET OF SIX PDF Download Patterns and Youtube Tutorials for Sweetie Club Quilts.

Did you miss out on my Sweetie Club 1 earlier this year? Well don’t worry you haven’t missed out entirely!

Sweetie Club 2 will begin again in January 2022 – leaving a little gap for you to enjoy all the six quilts and videos from Sweetie Club 1. Here is the group of six!

Parma Violets

Level – Beginner/Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and first in the Sweetie Club series.

It features 81 lovely “Parma violet” sweets on a varied background of creams. This quilt will introduce you to the wonders of sashing and cornerstones and single fold binding. The finished size is approximately 18” square.

Fruit Pastilles

Level – Beginner/Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and second in the Sweetie Club series.

It features 13 gorgeously chewy fruit pastel folded stars/hexies on a varied background of creams. This quilt will introduce you to the wonders of Irish chain, a little applique and folded patchwork as well as double fold French binding.

The finished size is approximately 18” square.

Cinder Toffee

Level – Beginner/Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and third in the Sweetie Club series.

It is a one block quilt featuring the “Hourglass” block. I have created it using low value creams, and contrasted it with strong browns, blacks, and greys which for me is reminiscent of cooking cinder toffee in a pan with my grandmother as a child! There are three size options for this quilt the smallest being 14 1/2” by 18”.

Rhubarb and Custard

Level - Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and fourth in the Sweetie Club series.

It is a one block quilt that has been diagonally set against plain squares. It features a block that I think is called “Old maids Puzzle” that I saw in a vintage quilt some time ago. I have created this mini quilt using loud shades of pink and green (the rhubarb) and low value creams as the custard. In this one we are focusing on half-square triangles. I am giving you a positive “smorgasbord” of ways to make them!

Then we will pop it all into a diagonal set (I LOVE a diagonal set) and then make it into a little quilt with lopped off corners!

The quilt with added border is 17” square finished

Barley Sugar

Level – Beginner/Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and fifth in the Sweetie Club series!

I did quite a bit of research around this one…no we are not going to do the tube, strip or just squares methods…I have come up with a hybrid method similar to one I found on YouTube with an added “Sallie twist”!

The Barley Sugar quilt in the photo is made with 1” finished squares and you can go that small if you wish but this set of instructions will give directions for 1 ½” finished squares. The quilt with added border is 24” square finished.

Raspberry Ruffle

Level – Beginner/Intermediate

This is a lovely quick mini quilt and sixth in the Sweetie Club series!

Raspberry Ruffle is a paper foundation pieced log cabin and trip around the world combo quilt. It is a celebration of the Jamieson’s Raspberry Ruffle Bar I used to eat as a child
